A couple of years back I headed north from Tucson headed to find an odd roadside attraction. Two Guns Arizona sits outside of Winslow, Arizona, off Historic Route 66. There is not much there today but it does make for a fun plate to explore. I dive deeper into the town’s history over on my adventure page.
While it was not what I expected it still was a fun trip seeing some of the odd roadside attractions around Arizona. Filled with decay and graffiti this old roadside attraction once held several restaurants, a zoo, murder, and more. Now even the abandoned KOA campground is slowly fading into existence.
If you are in the Phoneix, Tucson, or Sedona, it is a great short trip. You can also make a stop in Winslow and the Meteor Crater National Landmark.
