A National Park Unit is an area of land set aside by the National Park Service (NPS) for protection and public enjoyment. Over 400 National Park Units are scattered across the United States, ranging from iconic landmarks like Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon to lesser-known sites like the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site and the Gulf Islands National Seashore. These areas offer visitors a chance to experience the beauty of nature, learn about the country’s history, and engage in various fun outdoor activities. Unsurprisingly, I stop at as many places as possible during my travels. Below you will find all of the places that I have visited.
